  • Athletes who would like to apply to the Townie Athletic Board can do so by filling out an application found in the attachment below.
     
  • Boys Tennis should return uniforms and equipment to Coach Amaral in the AD office.
     
  • Senior athletes should respond to the AD office regarding the invitation to the Sr. Athletic Banquet by May 30th to reserve your seat.

  • Tickets for the Gym Restoration Project Pasta Dinner can be purchased at the AD office.  Adults $10.  Student tickets will be sold at the door for $7 and children 5 and under are free.

  • Kevin Robinson and the K-Rob Foundation are looking for volunteers to help with the Third Annual "RIDE WITH K-ROB FAMILY FUN FESTIVAL” on Saturday, June 8, 2013 from 8:00am – 5:00pm at the Carousel in Riverside. Community Service hours will be available for any East Providence High School who participates for any length of time on this day.  There will be an informational volunteer meeting on Monday April 8, 2013 at 6:30pm at the Little Red School House, 20 Sprague Street in Riverside. See Mrs. Medina in the back of the library if you have any questions. 
     
  • FORMS TO PARTICIPATE IN ATHLETICS: The newly revised Assumption of Risk form to tryout can be downloaded by going to the FORMS link above.  Also, an updated physical must be handed in to the coach.  All other registration forms need to be filled out by registering your child through the FamilyID link above.
     
  • For School Insurance download the application that is attached below.  Parents should return the form(pg.5 only) with the proper amount in an unsealed envelope to the coach who will forward it to the Athletic Office.       

  • New Season Pass information: Season Passes to all EPHS sponsored events at East Providence High School and Pierce Field will be on sale at the Athletic Directors office or at the ticket table/booth. STUDENTS are $30 and ADULTS are $40. New this year will be a Family Pass Package.  2 Adults and 1 Student will be $100 and 2 Adults and 2 Students will be $125.  Also, a 20% discount on all athletic apparel will be given to season pass holders. 

  • A call to Friends of Townie Athletics: We urge you to become an active member of “Friends of Townie Athletics Organization.” Our meeting date is the first Wednesday of the month at 6:30PM at the Senior Center. For more information, call EP Athletics at 435-7806 or email pamaral@epschoolsri.com. Please attend and bring a “Friend of Townie Athletics".

Results
Pitcher Alex Hurley earned the victory on Monday, and went 2-for-4 with three RBI in leading East Providence to a 9-2 win over Wheeler. EP is now 14-1 on the season.

Sunday 02/17/13 Boys V Swimming State Championship Away 1:00PM EP was simply overmatched in the First Round of the Division 1 Championship.  Hope was more aggressive, attacked the offensive glass and played with a greater sense of urgency.  EP quickly got down 6-0 and never recovered.  This marks the end of the Townies season, as they will also be knocked out of the Open State Championship due to tonight's loss.  A special thank you to Seniors Edwin Sam, Alex Hurley, John Vaughn, Jay Andrade, Jashaun Bennett, Ra'Kwon Jordan and George Osei for a great season and a great four years.
