Mt Hope 6 Townies 3
Once again the Lady Townies
came out strong and scored the first goal. Five minutes into the
game Krystal DeFaria connected from long range. Mt. Hope
equalized at the 20 min. mark and quickly added two more goals to lead
3-1. After trailing 4-1 at the half the townies played the
Huskies even in the second half with goals from Jill Pereira and
Joanna Ricci. With a little more consistency on defense and more
excellent attacking play the girls hope to defeat Cumberland Thursday
evening. |

Barrington 6 Townies 1
This was the one that could
have been. The lady townies came out strong and scored the first
goal. they continued to play tough and the game was tied 1-1 at
the half. In the second half the team lost its focus, however.
The drop in intensity led to 5 second half goals for the Barrington
booters. |

E. Greenwich 8 Townies 0
Once again the Townies came
out strong and held E.G. scoreless for the first 20 minutes.
Once
the avengers got going they scored three goals in
a ten minute span and it was all downhill from there for the East
Providence side. The girls look to improve their effort Tuesday
night at Barrington.
