May 20, 2010 Coventry-Box Score
The Townies opened the playoffs
at home with a 3-0 sweep of the oakers.
The team advances to the semifinals against
Chariho on Wednesday night at 7:30 at Rhode

The Townies finish the regular
season with a 3-1 victory over South Kingstown
on senior night. The Townies end the

The Townies improved to 4-0 with
a straight set victory of Coventry! For

April 10, 2010 at Boys
Showcase of Champions (Holyoke Community
College)
The Townies finished pool play tied for
first with a 7-3 record earning the #2 seed in
the Gold Medal Bracket. The boys then lost
in the semifinal match to the tournament
champions (Chicopee Comp) 23-25. For complete

April 8, 2010 Chariho-Box Score
The Townies survive the home
opener with a 3-2 victory over Chariho.
After dropping game 1 16-25, the Townies turned
things around winning games 2 & 3. Game 4
was a 2 point loss forcing a 5th and deciding
game. The Townies took an early lead and

weekend to compete in the Volleyball Hall of
Fame - Showcase of Champions!

Hendricken-Box Score
The townies travelled to
Hendricken to face the always tough Hawks. Solid
play by Ted
Hurley and
Aaron Spivey led the way for a Townies 3-1

Greenwich-Box Score
The townies opened the season
with a straight set victory against East
Greenwich. For complete results and stats go to

the road at Hendricken.

March 31, 2010:
The Townies regular season
opener at East Greenwich was postponed until
4/1/2010 due to flooding!!!

March 27, 2010:
The townies travelled to Fall
River to participate in the Durfee Jamboree.
Playing without starting setter Jack Monagle,
the townies manage to take down each of their 3
opponents (Durfee, New Bedford Voke, and
Xavarian).

March 24,2010:
The Townies will open their
season Thursday night at home in the Injury Fund
with Mount Saint Charles and Bishop Hendricken.
The Townies play Hendricken at 4:00pm and Mount
Saint Charles at 6:30pm.
The Townies will then travel
to Fall River on Saturday to participate in the
Durfee Jamboree with Durfee, New Bedford
Vocational and Xavarian.

February 2010:
All boys trying out for this
years team should get all paperwork into Coach
Martinous (room 252) as soon as possible.
Anyone with incomplete
paperwork or who does not have a current
physical on file will not be able to tryout.
Tryouts will begin on Monday
March 15th at 2:00 pm in the gym, be ready to
start at 2:00! |
